Exams and Certifications

SOLIDWORKS certifications can be used as a benchmark to measure your knowledge and competency with SOLIDWORKS.

All registered students at University or TAFE colleges are eligible to sit for a SOLIDWORKS certification. Exams are free, if their school is a SOLIDWORKS Academic Certification Provider and has a current subscription.

Certifications include:

CSWA – Academic Exam
Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate – Academic (CSWA – Academic) certification is intended for a student with a minimum of six to nine months of SOLIDWORKS experience.

CWSP – Academic Exam
Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional – Academic (CSWP – Acadmic) certification is intended for a student with a minimum of 1 to 2 years of SOLIDWORKS experience and advanced knowledge of engineering practices.

CSWP – MBD
The completion of the Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional Model Based Design (CSWP-MBD) exam shows that you have successfully demonstrated your ability to use SOLIDWORKS MBD funtionaltiy and tools.

CSDA
As a Certified Sustainable Design Associate (CSDA), you will stand out from the crowd in today’s competitive job market by demonstrating an understanding of the principles of environmental assessment and sustainable design.

CSWA-S
The Certified SOLIDWORKS Associate – Simulation (CSWA-S) certification indicates a foundation in and apprentice knowledge of demonstrating an understanding in the principles of stress analysis and the Finite Element Method (FEM).

CSWP-S
The Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional – Simulation (CSWP-S) exam tests your understanding of SOLIDWORKS Simulation tools and simulation in general.

CSWPA-Sheet Metal
The completion of the Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional Advanced Sheet Metal (CSWPA-SM) exam shows that you have successfully demonstrated your ability to use SOLIDWORKS Sheet Metal tools.

CSWPA-Weldments
The completion of the Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional Advanced Weldments (CSWPA-WD) exam proves that you have successfully demonstrated your ability to use the SOLIDWORKS tools for Weldments.

CSWPA-Surfacing
The completion of the Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional Advanced Surfacing (CSWPA-SU) exam shows that you have successfully demonstrated your ability to use SOLIDWORKS Advanced Surfacing tools.

CSWPA-Mold Tools
The completion of the Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional Advanced Mold Tools (CSWPA-MT) exam shows that you have successfully demonstrated your ability to use SOLIDWORKS Mold Tools functionality.

CSWPA-Drawing Tools
The completion of the Certified SOLIDWORKS Professional Advanced Drawing Tools (CSWPA-DT) exam proves that you have successfully demonstrated your ability to use the tools found in the SOLIDWORKS Drawing environment.
