Have you ever encountered a scenario where a problematic element in a view causes your model to freeze when displayed, making it impossible to select, delete, or alter?
By creating a schedule and assigning the relevant criteria, you can identify and modify the element’s layer or storey. While schedules don’t allow direct deletion, you can temporarily move the element to a proxy layer or storey. Then, in a different view, delete the proxy layer or storey, which will, in turn, remove the element from the model.
This method is also handy for locating elusive elements that don’t appear through standard search methods.
