Frame Profiles & Shim Spaces
The Ci Tools Door allows us to not only apply but also recreate frame/jamb profiles as per manufacturer’s specifications.
Simply navigate to Plan View Items and select either Steel Frame or Timber Frame. In addition to the presets already available, it is possible to customize the profiles even further.
Below is an example of how a custom Steel Frame Profile was used for an internal door.
Additional functions in the Frame Settings & Shim Spaces allow further fine tuning depending on the level of detail required.
The Ci Tools Doors & Windows are renowned to offer greater modelling flexibility than the default Archicad Doors and Windows. Comprised of only 4 tools, you can choose to either unleash your creativity or simply replicate suites as per manufacturers’ specifications.
