Ci Tools Doors & Windows

Splitting IDs in multiple lines

On large scale projects, it is very likely for Door and Window IDs to get quite long which then makes it challenging to schedule.

The “newline” character is widely used in computer programming through the “\n” escape sequence. This sequence is also applicable in Archicad. By including “\n” in the Element ID of this door, it is possible to split the ID into 2 lines!

The Ci Tools Doors & Windows are renowned to offer greater modelling flexibility than the default Archicad Doors and Windows. Comprised of only 4 tools, you can choose to either unleash your creativity or simply replicate suites as per manufacturers’ specifications.
