This is a common issue usually caused by a simple visualisation setting.
The Model View Options (MVO) is one of the filters of the bottom bar. Its main functionality is to define the level of detail of a certain view. When set to “Site”, most elements will have a low level of detail, including doors and windows. To fix the issue, you just need to select another MVO option, like “Drafting” or “Construction”:
