23 days of ARCHICAD 23: Doors+Windows Snap Sizing

Day 18:

Another feature of the new CI Doors+Windows Styles is Snap Sizing. What this lets you do, is to go in and create a set of preset sizings for your joinery to Snap to. You can manually create a set of widths or heights here, or you can use the controls on the left to set increments and divisions, and then hit Generate to automatically create a whole array of sizes according to your rules.

You can then select any of your sizes in the Size setting in the main Styles panel, or simply resize your joinery elements to near-enough what you want, and they’ll snap to the size closest to them (hence the name!).
