ARCHICAD Revision Management – Renaming Items in Publishing Sets

This Tip will explain you how to quickly rename multiple items in the Publisher Sets. This is useful if the name of the published items is not what you want thus you would like to display additional Autotext information. The good news is that this is possible since ARCHICAD 18. • Select the Publisher Set Items you wish to rename in the Navigator or Organizer.
• Right click and in the Context Menu select Rename Items… command.
• In the Rename Items Dialog select the Custom Name radio button. At the bottom of this window you can see the Preview of the items.
• Press the Insert Autotext button to add custom text information from the dropdown list.
• Add manual text between the Autotext words for better visibility if you wish.
