Add colour to model using your own Classifications

When opening a model in Solibri the 3D display of elements will be according to the materials of the authoring software.

For an easier management of the model, you can assign a colour to the model by classifications.

For example

Load the demo SMC file and go to the Information Takeoff Layout

Apply the default Building Elements – Uniformat Classification

Then you can go to the 3D view tools and select the Paint Visible with Current Colour option

This will allow you to visualize the 3D model in a more schematic and understandable way, not even clicking the Brown Box (Show All) will reset these colour changes.

However, if you want to revert the colours, choose the Remove Paint from Visible Components option.
