Sections with Limited Vertical Extent

Sections in ArchiCAD may have Infinite or Limited extent. If you choose a section to have Limited extent, you can display a limited part of the model in the section view. Otherwise all story levels will be displayed.
To set limited extent for a section, select the marker in plan view and open its Settings dialog.

Set the Vertical Range to be Limited.

Choose a reference point from which to measure the vertical extents of the section. This may be Project Zero, or you can choose a specific Story level.
Set the height of the section base, measured from the reference level.
Set the height of the section top, measured from the reference level.
