Highlights from the SOLIDWORKS 2017 Launches!

After 13 events over 5 weeks attended by over 600 people across Australia and New Zealand, the SOLIDWORKS 2017 Launch Events bought to you by Intercad has finally come to a close. We’d like to thank everyone that attended each event and discovered the great new features to the SOLIDWORKS 2017 Suite.

The most popular SOLIDWORKS 2017 features with attendees were:

• 3D Interconnect which allows users to import native CAD data from other 3D file formats into SOLIDWORKS – this allows users to work seamlessly with anyone and incorporate design changes dramatically faster;
• “Visualize Boost” which delivers a dramatic improvement in rendering speeds and improved workflow;
• The improvements to SOLIDWORKS Electrical including the ability to create a schematic from a spreadsheet;
• The ability to import and export 3MF files for 3D printing.

LINKEDIN COMPETITION WINNER

It is with great pleasure that we announce that the winner of our SOLIDWORKS 2017 Launch LinkedIn competition is Hossein Kordbacheh of Beaver Brands.  As the winner, he has won an MSI WS60 Laptop, worth almost $5000! To be in the running for this prize, competition entrants needed to post a photo of themselves at one of the SOLIDWORKS 2017 launch events on their LinkedIn page and tag Intercad.  The winner was decided by the highest number of likes for their photo with Hossein as the winner achieving 391 likes.
