If you have certain stories in your model that you don’t wish to show in your 3D View, limited the elevation to be seen or simply improve the speed of the model when you are navigating, you can use Filter and Cut Elements in 3D for it.
To use it go to View>Elements in 3D View>Filter and Cut Elements in 3D
