Fill display: Vectorial vs. Bitmap

Each fill type has two display modes: Vectorial or Bitmap.
Probably you’ve never noticed this – as most of the time we use the vectorial view, as that is the default setting in Archicad.

You can turn this on and off by using the View > On-Screen View Options > Vectorial hatching setting.
Even if you use the bitmap display option on the screen, in printing the vectorial face will be used.

You can also change and edit any Fill’s bitmap pattern under the Availability and Screen Only Panel under the Fill settings – click with the arrow cursor in the pattern window to turn pixels on and off.

This pattern will show up when the bitmap display mode is used, or when the fill shows up in pop-up menus.
