The more fills in your drawing set, the bigger the pdf that gets published.
The fill type you choose can add weight to your published pdf.
There are difference between all the fill types;
Vectorial fills will stay as a fill in a DWG, but will be single lines and arcs in a PDF.
For symbol fills it is the opposite. They will be exploded into lines in a DWG, but stay as a fill in a PDF.
Images or surface texture fills could make your pdf page size up to ten times bigger.

SYMBOL FILL – UNIFORM PEN COLOUR FILL NON SHADED
VECTORIAL FILL – COLOUR FILL SHADED
TEXTURE FILL – SURFACE TEXTURE SHADED
