How to use the Surface Painter without making your file slower

Sometimes when we try to use the Surface Painter we end up getting a file that takes longer to respond.

To keep using the tool without having to slow down, you can open the Surface Painter (Document > Creative Imaging > Surface Painter):

Once you have the Palette open, you can click on the arrow on the top and change the visualisation to Hardware acceleration instead of Cineware and Redshift by Maxon:
