Text Scale / Size

When adding text you have two options for Scalability, Model Size and Paper Size.  Model Size means that the size of the text will change with the scale, Paper Size means that the text will always show at the size nominated on the Layout.  The default is to have this set to Paper Size, so that when you change the output scale the text remans at the height you specified, this is what you would typically use for notes.  Use Model Size for text within your Model i.e. Road Markings, Building Names, street numbers on letterboxes etc.

In the example the label “Road Marking” is set to Paper Size (which is the default) and the text “GIVE WAY” is set to Model Size.  As you can see the Model text stays the same size relative to the model.
