Hide/Lock Hotlink Module

When you hotlink a module, in the hotlink settings you can assign a master layer to it.

Now if you wish to hide/lock all the layers of just that module than you can go to the layer (model view) dialogue box and hide/lock just the master layer of this module.

Also if you wish to change the master layer, you can select the hotlink module and go to File < External content < Hotlink selection settings and change the master layer form this dialogue box.
