Digital transformation that meets manufacturers where they are

August 7, 2026

For more than 35 years, Central Innovation has worked alongside Australia and New Zealand’s engineering, design and manufacturing businesses. Those relationships have shaped our understanding of what manufacturers need from technology: practical improvements, accessible expertise and support that helps people put new capabilities to work.

The same experience shaped MaXXflow. We repeatedly saw businesses ready to improve production planning but held back by disconnected systems, manual processes and knowledge concentrated in individual employees. Many also found that enterprise systems demanded more complexity, cost or disruption than they could accommodate.

We developed MaXXflow around those realities. The platform connects jobs, inventory, bills of materials, purchasing, scheduling and production priorities so teams can work from a clearer view of the operation.

From introduction to implementation

MaXXflow is now available for manufacturers to buy and implement. Following its introduction through industry media, events and customer conversations, businesses can engage with Central Innovation to assess the platform and begin their implementation journey.

That assessment starts with how the business works today. Where is information difficult to find? Which handovers create repeated work? Where does uncertainty about materials or priorities affect the ability to deliver? Understanding those questions helps establish the role a connected planning platform can play.

A broader partnership

The release also marks a new chapter for Central Innovation. Our engineering and manufacturing heritage remains central to the business, while our capabilities extend across our own software, systems integration, consulting, education, implementation and technical support.

Bringing those capabilities together helps us support the changes surrounding a new system as well as the technology itself. People need to understand the information available to them and how it fits into their daily responsibilities.

Customer feedback has guided MaXXflow from the beginning. Manufacturers helped identify the challenges worth solving and the functionality that would make a difference to their teams. That collaboration continues as the platform moves into use.

For manufacturers ready to take the next step, digital transformation can begin with a clearer view of materials, production, priorities and risks. MaXXflow provides a way to build that connection, supported by a team with long-standing experience of local manufacturing.
