AEC, AEC - Tip of the Day, Archicad
If you have an open Transmittal in your Archicad projects,
and if you use the Revision History Detailed object – your relevant Layouts will have a ‘WIP’ – Work in Progress status under the RevID field.
You can also add a Watermark across the Revision History object to emphasize that the drawings are not ready yet.
To turn on the Watermark, open the Revision History Detailed object settings and navigate to the Additional Display Options… settings.
There select the Show Watermark on Work in Progress Layouts tickbox. Under these settings, you can also set up the Text Style, Orientation, the Text and the Text pen.
Note: If you have turned on the ‘Use Uniform color for Master items on your Layouts’ tickbox under the Work Environment > On-Screen option settings, everything will show as red (or with a selected color) on your Layouts, however when you Print / Save your drawings, the selected colors from the Revision object will show up.
