The Uniform Settings for Line Tools checkbox allows you to apply the settings made in this dialog box to all line-type tools : Line, Arc/Circle, Spline, Polyline.
With the Uniform Settings for Line Tools ticked when you go to Line, Arc/Circle, Spline or Polyline settings dialog box same settings will be used as defaults. This also allows you to match properties between the different line-type tools.
