Saving Time by Transferring Parameters into Opening Defaults

AEC - Tip of the Day, Archicad
In ARCHICAD, even the object defaults have settings. These are useful to give you a starting point, but if you want to change one opening type to another, the default settings override any customisations like height and width you’ve created meaning you have to start again.
Did you know it’s possible to transfer parameters into the opening default?
Use the ALT + Click keyboard shortcut to absorb the parameters of the opening you’ve already placed. Open up the Openings Selection Settings, then use the CMD or Ctrl + ALT keyboard shortcut to inject parameters into the new library part.
