Saving 2D Symbols as Library Parts

If you find that you need to place a 2D pattern many times in a project, you may wish to create a 2D symbol, then save it as an object.
Save the object with the File > Libraries and Objects > Save Selection as > Object command. By default, the save location is the project’s Embedded Library. It is recommended to save customized, project-specific objects to your Embedded Library.
